What We Believe. . .
We believe in the divine inspiration, trustworthiness, and authority of the scriptures. We believe that the Bible reveals God, the fall of humanity, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose through the ages. It is truth, without any mixture of error in the original autographs. God’s Word has been accurately preserved through the copied manuscripts.

We believe that there is one and only one living and true God who reveals himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal being, the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe, infinite in holiness and in all other perfections.

We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing. The conditions to salvation are repentance and faith. Individuals are justified by faith alone, and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We believe in the priesthood of each believer. Sanctification is the process of growth in the believer’s life under the lordship of Jesus Christ through the person of the Holy Spirit, who comes to indwell the believer at the moment of salvation. Salvation is a gift from God that can never be lost.

We believe that the universal church is composed of all true believers everywhere, and that the New Testament emphasizes the role and importance of the local church as an autonomous body of baptized believers committed to Christ’s teachings, observing the
two ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The local church is to work in cooperation with other like-minded congregations in seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

We believe in the visible, personal, and imminent return of Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection and everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
